About Page

Hi!

Hi!

Hallo to all the beautiful people out there! This is a fact: “Who you are makes a difference”. You matter. Keep the faith, keep smiling 🙂

Lovely to have you here.

“To see a World in a Grain of Sand And a Heaven in a Wild Flower, Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand And Eternity in an hour…” William Blake, “Auguries of Innocence”

I see life through multiple lenses, mundane or poetic, pedestrian and imaginative. Life experiences either make you stronger or break you. I am one of the lucky ones.

Lives of great men all remind us
We can make our lives sublime,
And, departing, leave behind us
Footprints on the sands of time;—

Footprints, that perhaps another,
Sailing o’er life’s solemn main,
A forlorn and shipwrecked brother,
Seeing, shall take heart again.”
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow “A Psalm of Life”

Which road to take, how far to travel, when to hold ’em and when to fold ’em – yep, life’s sure a blast. How are you doing? Let me know.

“Beauty is truth, truth beauty,—that is all
Ye know on earth, and all ye need to know.” John Keats, “Ode on a Grecian Urn”

My author website is for myself, by myself, where I ruminate, find rhyme and reason, and make sense of the world and its people. You are welcome.

Ursula Nieuwoudt (Namibia) is writing a book about living with diamonds, in a remote, isolated desert. Ruffians, mavericks, adventurers and drug lords – it’s a novel way of life, remarkably arduous, demanding, yet extraordinary, where the workers are ingenious and as hard-wearing as their product. She has also written an inspirational book for Kindle: Practical Conversations About Fitting In, Good Habits For A Great Life. She has contributed to various bestselling books, by Viki Winterton.
